Eight students waiting for a SEPTA bus were shot in Northeast Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon, March 6, city police say. It happened at the corner of Rising Sun and Cottman avenues at 3 p.m., Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel told reporters Wednesday evening. Pair Of Deadly Hit-Runs Under Investigation In Philly
Police in Philadelphia are investigating after two people were killed in hit-and-run car crashes just a few hours apart on Sunday, Jan. 22. The first crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. in South Philadelphia, 6abc reports. A 44-year-old woman was crossing the 600 block of Oregon Avenue when she was hit by a silver SUV, the outlet said.
