Wendy’s Begins Closures Of 140 Locations Nationwide Wendy’s has started planned closures of 140 restaurants across the US. The closures are part of a strategic effort to streamline operations and focus on more profitable locations amid rising operational costs and stiff competition. Wendy’s CEO Kirk Tanner said the restaurant selected for closure are “outdated and located in underperforming areas,” according to CEO Today. The closures are expected to end by year's end. Body Found Along Susquehanna River, 'Suspicious Death' Investigation Launched: Police A man was found dead in Harrisburg along Front Street on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 24, the Susquehanna Township Police announced that evening.  The man's body was found in the 4000 block of North Front Street near the Susquehanna River at 2:46 p.m. police detailed in the release. The area is across from Wendy's as seen on Google Maps Street View.  "The death is currently being investigated as a suspicious death" police wrote in the release noting that "there is no ongoing danger to the public."
