Man Struck, Killed By Pickup Truck During Rush Hour On Hudson Valley Roadway Police are investigating a rush-hour crash on a busy Hudson Valley roadway that killed one man. The Rockland County incident happened on Wednesday, Dec. 20 in the town of Ramapo. At approximately 5:30 p.m., a 52-year-old man was walking north in the southbound lanes on Route 59 in the village of Hillburn, Ramapo Police said. As he was nearing the intersection of Route 59 and 4th Street, the man was hit by a 2023 Honda Ridgeline truck. The incident occurred in Rockland County in Ramapo on  Tuesday, Nov. 13 at a government building on Route 59. According to Lt. Christopher Franklin of the Ramapo Police, officials found that an Israeli flag was removed from the exterior of the building by a group of individuals, damaging it in the process, and left with the flag in their possession. The crash took place in Rockland County around 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 on Airmont Road and Route 59 in Ramapo. An investigation into the crash found that a 2012 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 41-year-old female resident of Mahwah, New Jersey, was traveling eastbound on Route 59,  said Lt. Photos: Two Hospitalized After Crash At Rockland Intersection Two were injured in Rockland County after crashing at a busy intersection, police said. A driver was t-boned at the intersection of Route 59 and College Road in Ramapo early in the morning on Tuesday, Aug. 11 when a driver sped through the traffic light. Police said that the drivers of the two vehicles were treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash forced a temporary closure of the intersection as police investigated the incndent and cleared the scene. Both drivers have since been released from the hospital.
