Authorities in Dutchess County took six people into custody and seized narcotics and firearms after raiding an apartment suspected of drug activity, police announced.
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department executed a search warrant at 641 Main St., Apt. 4, following an investigation sparked by community complaints, according to the department.

Jerry Giovinazzo, age 51, of Yorktown, was arrested for falsely reporting an incident in the third degree, a misdemeanor, the Yorktown Police Department announced on Thursday, Feb. 6.

Alert Issued For Missing Girl, 12, In Hudson Valley
Authorities in Dutchess County are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl.
In an announcement on Thursday, Feb. 6, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department said they are searching for Miamor Rivera, who went missing on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Rivera is described as White, 5-foot-3, and 133 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants, and clear-framed glasses. She may travel to Schenectady, authorities said.
