A drug task force nabbed an alleged fentanyl dealer following an ongoing investigation in the region. The arrest occurred in Dutchess County in Poughkeepsie on Thursday, Aug. 22. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, the unit has been investigating the transportation and sale of fentanyl and other dangerous drugs being brought into Dutchess County from Orange County in Newburgh. An estimated 137,000 cases of a popular popsicle product are subject to an alert by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) due to undeclared allergens, authorities announced. A Hudson Valley police department is continuing its investigation into unlicensed/illegal massage parlors and spas throughout the area, arresting three on this go-round of busts.
