The crash happened at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in Bohemia. A 51-year-old man from Brentwood was driving a 2012 Infiniti G37 westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) with his 6-year-old daughter, Amaia Rivera, in the backseat.  He lost control of the vehicle, hit the center median, crossed all westbound lanes, left the roadway, and collided with a tree, according to Suffolk County Police. The crash occurred at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, in Elmont.
