Copiague, Riverhead Teens Have Been Missing Over Month
It’s now been over a month since relatives last saw these Long Island teenagers.
Authorities in Suffolk County are asking for help in locating Celina Hernandez, age 17, of Copiague, and Sincere Brown, age 16, of Riverhead.
Hernandez was reported missing on Wednesday, Aug. 28, and is believed to be with her 3-month-old son, Angel. She was last seen wearing a beige tank top and gray jeans.
Brown was last seen on Monday, Sept. 2. He is believed to be with a male companion, Matthew Lopez, who is also missing, police said.

A pilot killed during a fiery crash while performing in an air show in the Hudson Valley has been identified.
The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, on Norton Road in Red Hook.
According to the Red Hook Police Department, an initial investigation determined that due to unknown mechanical issues, the engine of a World War I Fokker D.VII caught fire, causing the plane to crash near the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome where the exhibit was taking place.

27-Year-Old Accused Of Promoting Prostitution, Sex Trafficking On Long Island
A man has been accused of sex trafficking and promoting prostitution on Long Island.
Queens resident Wilson Rodriguez Peralta, 27, of Maspeth, was arrested without incident on Friday night, Oct. 4 in Hicksville, following a Nassau County Police investigation.
Peralta has been charged with:
Sex trafficking,
Criminal possession of a controlled substance,
Promoting prostitution.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Saturday, Oct. 5, at First District Court in Hempstead.

A man has been accused of driving drunk after an overnight Long Island crash hospitalized his young daughter.
It happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 in Rocky Point.
Suffolk County Police say the man was driving a 2017 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Lower Rocky Point Road, when the vehicle veered left at the intersection of Hagerman Landing Road, left the roadway, and crashed.

A police officer was hospitalized after a Long Island motorist allegedly became combative after being stopped near an intersection.
Officers conducted the traffic stop of a 2012 Dodge Challenger in Valley Stream in the vicinity of Hook Creek Boulevard and 136th Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.

A police pursuit and fatal officer-involved shooting on a Long Island highway is the subject of a New York State Attorney General’s Office investigation.
The incident happened on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa on Friday, Sept. 20.
According to the AG’s office, officers with the NYPD, along with Freeport and Nassau County Police, were involved in a vehicle pursuit through Queens and Nassau counties.
