A woman was found dead after an apparent homicide overnight at a home on Long Island, police said.
It happened on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 11:45 p.m. in Levittown.
That's when Nassau County Police Department officers responded for a disturbance that was occurring at a residence located on Cord Lane.
Upon officers' arrival, a female victim was found dead and a male victim was found injured. The male victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he is in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
Further details are expected to be released later in the day.
