The suspect walked into Patchogue’s Webster Bank on Sunrise Highway at just after 9 a.m. Thursday, July 13, according to Suffolk County Police.

As in previous robberies, the woman was wearing a motorcycle helmet and handed the teller a note demanding cash. She also threatened violence unless her demands were met.

The teller complied and the woman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash on the back of a waiting motorcycle.

She was last seen heading westbound on Sunrise Service Road North.

No employees or customers were injured during the ordeal.

The robbery came days after another helmet-wearing woman robbed the TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma, located on Portion Road, on Monday, July 10.

That incident occurred hours after a failed robbery attempt at a Yaphank Chase Bank. In both cases, the woman fled on a waiting motorcycle.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery spree to contact the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
