NJ Man Charged In Death Of 5-Week-Old Daughter, Prosecutor Says
A New Jersey man was arrested and charged with manslaughter Wednesday following a nearly yearlong investigation into the death of his 5-week-old daughter. Officers responding to 67 Willow Ave. in Rockaway Borough found Joseph Tarquini IV, 30, and his infant daughter, M.T., who was in medical distress around 4:55 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2021, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said in a joint release. The infant was taken to St. Clare’s Denville Hospital for treatment and pronounced dead a short time later. Sussex County Mom Seeks Info After Hit-Run Crash Puts Traffic Light Through Daughter’s Car
A Sussex County mother is desperately attempting to track down the driver who hit her 17-year-old daughter’s car and fled the scene Thursday night. Jennifer Rogoff, of Sparta, says her daughter, Charlotte, was struck by a car while driving on Route 15 South in Jefferson near the DOT Picatinny truck entrance around 6:30 p.m. The vehicle sped off without stopping after the crash, which Rogoff says caused a traffic light to puncture the roof of Charlotte’s car. “Thankfully she is very sore but okay,” she writes. Popular Morris County Restaurant Owner Accused Of Sexually Assaulting His 17-Year-Old Staffer
The owner of a popular Morris County restaurant was arrested on accusations he sexually assaulted his 17-year-old employee, authorities said Wednesday. Robert Grow, 61 -- the owner of Potbelly's Riverside Cafe in Rockaway -- was arrested March 8 and charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Acting Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.
