Nebraska Sex Offender Sent Explicit Messages To 11-Year-Old NJ Girl: Prosecutors
A 23-year-old Nebraska man and registered sex offender was recently arrested and charged after he sent sexually explicit texts to an 11-year-old girl in Warren County while posing as a 13-year-old boy, authorities said. A police dispatcher in Hudson County was arrested on child porn charges, authorities said. An investigation into Jason De. Lewis, 39, who is a dispatcher and for the Harrison Police Department, began in October 2023, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Gerard Manning has been captured. The 30-year-old man wanted in the killing of Victoria Myers on Thanksgiving morning in Elizabeth has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel said. Myers was found dead on Mravlag Manor Thursday morning, Nov. 23, officials said. Manning was on the lam ever since, and was arrested Friday, Nov. 24, Daniel said. Secaucus Man Busted For Child Porn: Police
A 35-year-old Secaucus man was arrested and charged with viewing and uploading child pornography on Thursday, June 15, authorities said. Johan Marte Garteo was apprehended following a seven-month long investigation, where police determined he watched videos depicting children engaging in sexual acts, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. A 45-year-old DWI Staten Island driver had his two children in the car when he struck a 37-year-old pedalcyclist, leaving him severely injured, authorities in Bayonne said. Rainier J. Solis struck the victim near Route 440 south and East 22nd Street around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato said.
