Frozen Waffle Listeria Recall Expands To 14+ Grocery Store Brands A massive voluntary recall has been issued for frozen waffles sold by over 14 different grocery store chains nationwide due to the potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, TreeHouse Foods, Inc. announced on Friday, Oct. 18. The discount retailer chain was forced to pay a fine of $1.2 million after repeatedly engaging in merchandise pricing violations at several stores throughout New Jersey, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.
