2 Men Wanted For Theft Of Newark Truck Batteries A warrant has been issued for the arrest of two Newark men wanted for stealing truck batteries, authorities said. Virgil Green 55, and Darryl Green, 52, are each facing a charge of burglary for the Nov. 17 incident,  Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. Police responded to 699 Springfield Ave., the parking lot of the Salvation Army, where three semi-commercial truck batteries and a forklift battery were stolen from a rental truck parked overnight at the location, Ambrose said.
