Police ID 7 People Arrested For Armed Robberies Following Pursuit: Newark PD Seven people, three adults and four juveniles were arrested after committing two robberies and engaging police in a pursuit on Route 78 on Sunday, Feb. 3, authorities said.  At 8 a.m. police in Newark responded to Clifton Avenue and Treadwell Street after a woman was robbed at gunpoint by a group of Black men wearing dark clothing and ski masks, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  The suspects fled in a gray 2019 Hyundai Sonata that been stolen out of the city earlier that day, Fragé said.
