A 32-year-old Pennsylvania man has been charged after a police pursuit led to the death of a motorcyclist, a Vietnam War veteran, in Warren County on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said. A Fair Lawn police officer was injured in a crash while responding on Monday to a shoplifting at a local CVS. The officer was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with back pain after his unmarked car collided with an Acura RDX as he pursued one of two suspects across the Maple Avenue bridge over the Passaic River around 11:45 a.m., witnesses said.
