ID Released For Hudson Valley Woman Killed After Falling 15 Feet While Taking Picture The name of the Hudson Valley woman who died after falling 15 feet into a creek while having a picture taken has now been released. The Dutchess County resident has been identified as 42-year-old Sukanya Basu of Beacon. The incident took place around 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Fishkill Creek, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police. Petersen, Jr.  Paula was born in Schenectady, NY on July 9, 1949 — a daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Whitney) Weltzien. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers and Pace University in Pleasantville. A resident of Ridgefield since 2003, Paula previously resided in Ridgefield from 1978 to 1988 and Westchester County from 1988 to 2003.
