Alleged Gang Member Sentenced For Westchester Shooting
An alleged gang member will spend more than a decade behind bars for a shooting in Westchester. Bronx resident Dahjauntay Douglas, 22, was sentenced to 12 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to first-degree assault in July for his role in a shooting in Mount Vernon last year. On Oct. 4 last year, Douglas fired two shots on Gramatan Avenue, near the West Sidney Avenue intersection in Mount Vernon, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr., said. Two Westchester Gang Members Sentenced For Assault, Weapons Charges
Two gang members from Westchester will spend time behind bars after being convicted on assault and weapons charges for repeatedly stabbing a man following a verbal confrontation in Mount Vernon. Joseph Ogilvie and Tremaine Gordon, both 27 and from Mount Vernon, have been sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by five years post-release supervision following their convictions earlier this year. Two men from Westchester have been convicted on assault and weapons charges after stabbing a man repeatedly following a verbal confrontation in Mount Vernon. Joseph Ogilvie and Tremaine Gordon, both of Mount Vernon, have been convicted on multiple felonies for their roles in an early morning assault that left a man hospitalized. Man Charged With Attempted Murder For Firing Shot Into Moving Car In Westchester
The investigation into an October shooting in Westchester has led to an attempted murder charge for a suspect who struck his victim in a moving car. Bronx resident Dahjuantay Douglas, 21, was arraigned over the weekend on an attempted murder charge, following a non-fatal shooting in downtown Mount Vernon, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr., announced.
