Suspects Who Led Officer On Chase Resulting In Crash Tied To Thefts Across Three States: Police
A Philadelphia trio led Paramus police officers on a brief chase that resulted in a crash -- and then their arrests, authorities said. On Oct. 3, Paramus police officers responded to the Paramus Park Mall on a reports of three people pickpocketing and stealing, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said. Officer Brian Doughty located Michael Grantham, Kachae Jackson and Danielle Taylor, all from Philadelphia, who fled on foot from the officer into a waiting vehicle, the chief said. Know Her? Police Look To ID Hudson Valley Larceny Suspect
Do you know her? A suspect in a theft at one of the largest fairs held annually in New York State is at large and police are asking the public's help in identifying her. New York State Police investigators have released surveillance photos of a woman who is connected to a theft complaint that was reported at the Dutchess County Fair. In the photo, the woman can be seen wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, glasses and jeans. Bus Company Owner Found Guilty Of Fraud, Bribery, Theft In Westchester
The 50-year-old owner of an area bus repair and transportation company is now awaiting sentencing for fraud, bribery and theft. Richard Brega, the former owner of Brega D.O.T. Maintenance Corp. in Rockland County, was found guilty by a federal jury in White Plains, according to Geoffrey S. Berman, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The convictions were for Brega’s billing the Rockland Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) for maintenance of school buses that were never performed, and bribery of a Rockland BOCES official. Fugitive Wanted For Felony Nabbed In I-84 Stop
A man wanted on a felony charge in New Jersey was apprehended by New York State Police troopers in Dutchess County after he was stopped during a routine checkpoint on I-84. Troopers from the New York State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit were conducting vehicle inspections at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in Beacon when came upon Paterson, N.J. resident Alex Mondragon, 23, who was driving on the interstate.
