Super Bowl Flyover: Navy Pilot From Westchester Joins All-Woman Team For Big Game A US Navy pilot from Northern Westchester was one of several women who flew over Super Bowl LVII just before the game started.  Former North Salem resident and North Salem High School alumni Lieutenant Margaret Dente, also known as Peggy Bobbin, was part of the all-woman team who took part in an integrated flyover over State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where the game was held on Sunday, Feb. 12, North Salem Town Supervisor Warren Lucas said.  The flyover was conducted at the end of the national anthem, and consisted of three tactical aircraft squadrons, US Navy officials said.  …

North Salem High School and Middle School are both closed on Monday, May 16. The district office is also closed, the North Salem Central School District said. Longtime Highway Supervisor, Business Owner In Westchester Dies Lifelong Northern Westchester County resident and longtime highway supervisor Drew Allan Outhouse died on Sunday, July 11, at the age of 73. Outhouse lived in North Salem and was a graduate of North Salem High School, according to his obituary. He worked as the highway superintendent for the Town of North Salem for 30 years, and he retired in 2009. Additionally, for more than 46 years, he was a member of the Croton Falls Fire Department. 21 Ticketed In School Zone Detail In Westchester Nearly two dozen tickets were doled out by New York State Police troopers on Thursday as they conducted special enforcement details targeting distracted drivers speeding in school zones. On Thursday, April 11, troopers from Somers conducted their distracted driving enforcement detail in school zones at Somers High School, John F.
