Person Standing On Platform Killed After Coming Into Contact With Train In Hastings-On-Hudson A person was killed after coming in contact with an incoming train overnight in Westchester County. The incident took place in Westchester around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13 at the Hasting-on-Hudson station. According to MTA officials, a person standing on the platform at the station came in contact with the side of a Croton-Harmon bound train as it was approaching the station. MTA Police, Metro-North Railroad, and rescue personnel responded, but the person was pronounced dead at the scene. Person On Tracks Hit By Train In Hudson Valley, Officials Say An MTA train hit a person on the tracks, causing a serious leg wound. According to the MTA, the incident took place around 11:35 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, when the southbound Croton-Harmon-bound train struck the person at the Breakneck Ridge station in Fishkill in Dutchess County. The person struck was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with a reported leg injury.  Hudson Line service was initially suspended between Cold Spring and Beacon.  Service was delayed for a short time but resumed to full service by 2:11 a.m. This is a developing story.
