Q: Which sport would you say is more popular at Sleepy Hollow? About which sport are the fans most passionate?

A: I think it’s close to everything. I think football is the biggest in the fall, basketball and wrestling are on par in the winter and lacrosse is becoming very popular, especially boys’ lacrosse.

Q: What is your favorite aspect of your job?

A: Just dealing with the kids. To interact with them and making sure that the program is really done in a classy way, professionally.

Q: Do you have a particularly fond memory or favorite moment as athletic director?

A: I would probably have to say two years ago we won the boys and girls basketball tournament for the first time together in its 20 years of existence. The other one was probably going to the (Westchester) County Center in boys’ basketball. The kids came from nowhere. They started very slow.

Q: What are you most excited about for your athletic program in the coming year?

A: This senior is class is extremely enjoyable to work with and they’ve transposed that into a lot of excitement. The spirit has been alive and well.
