A Westchester man has been rescued after jumping from the Tappan Zee Bridge span at around 9:30 a.m. Thursday, according to reports.
A fire boat man found the man, a 53-year-old from Pleasantville alive in the water under the bridge after he jumped, and took him to Nyack Hospital, where he was treated for non-threatening injuries, according to News 12.
The man's age had originally been reported as age 40 around the time of the rescue.
