Former Musical Director On Long Island Sentenced For Receiving Child Porn
A former choir director on Long Island will spend years behind bars after admitting to possessing and exchanging child pornography over the Internet. Michael Wustrow, age 59, of Freeport, a former musical director at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, has been sentenced to 72 months in prison after pleading guilty in June 2019 to receiving child pornography. Man Charged With Stealing Money From Donation Boxes At Long Island Churches
A man wanted for a drug charge was implicated and arrested for allegedly stealing from a donation box at a Long Island church, police said. Nassau County Police said that multiple times in August last year, a suspect entered St. Agnes Cathedral on Quealy Place in Rockville Centre while it was closed. On Aug. 20 and Aug. 27, the suspect entered the church and pried open a donation box to steal an undisclosed amount of cash.
