26-Year-Old Busted Driving Stolen Car In Riverhead, Police Say A report of a stolen car ended with a 26-year-old man in handcuffs on Long Island. Riverhead Town Police were alerted at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 30, that a vehicle stolen from Nassau County was believed to be entering Riverhead. Nearly 10 minutes later, patrol units spotted the 2006 Dodge Charger stopped on Route 58 near Mill Road, according to police. Man Nabbed For Two Carjackings, One Attempted Theft In Suffolk, Police Say A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly carjacking two vehicles and attempting to steal another while wearing only shorts and high on a hallucinogen. The incident began around 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, in Suffolk County when a woman called the Riverhead Police to report that a man had just attempted to carjack her vehicle, said Detective Michael Schmidt of the Riverhead Police.  According to Schmidt, a 67-year-od woman called 911 to report that a Hispanic man had just attempted to forcibly remove her from her vehicle in the TJ Maxx shopping Plaza located on Route…
