Driver Airlifted After Crashing Into School Bus In Region
The driver of a minivan was airlifted following a crash with a full-size school bus in the region. The collision occurred in Sullivan County around 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, on Route 52 in Jeffersonville. According to Undersheriff Eric Chaboty of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies found a full-size school bus that had been traveling westbound when it was struck by a minivan traveling east. Trio At Large After Targeted Shooting At Apartment Complex In Region
Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly attempted to force their way into an apartment in the region and then shot one person, seriously wounding the victim. The incident took place in Ulster County around 10:20 p.m., Friday, March 8 in Ellenville at 122 Canal St. According to Ellenville Police Chief Philip Mattracion, responding officers found one man who had been shot and was bleeding uncontrollably. An update has just been released on the conditions of five students who suffered critical injuries after a charter bus crashed down a 50-foot ravine, killing two adults on board, late last week in the Hudson Valley. Worker Critical After 40-Foot Fall Through Skylight At School In Region
A construction worker is in critical condition after falling some 40 feet through a skylight at a Hudson Valley middle school. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2 at the Union Vale Middle School in Lagrangeville. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, the man was working on the skylight when he fell. Motorcyclist Driving In 'Unsafe Manner' Injured After Crashing In Region, Police Say
A 56-year-old motorcyclist from the Hudson Valley was driving “in an unsafe manner” when he lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle, authorities said. The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said the Highland resident was operating his bike on Vineyard Avenue in the Town of Lloyd when he wrecked just after midnight Tuesday, July 12. Woman From Region Charged After 2-Year-Old Airlifted With Serious Injuries
A woman from the region is facing criminal charges after a toddler was found bleeding in a bathroom. In Sullivan County, Village of Liberty Police were called to a home at around 6 p.m. Sunday, May 29, with reports of a two-year-old child bleeding uncontrollably from his leg, according to police.
