'End The Suffering': Partygoer's Murder In Capital Region Still A Mystery 20 Years On
Police are renewing calls for answers two decades after a man was beaten to death in the region. Montgomery County resident Brian Galusha, of Fultonville, was 31 years old when he was found severely injured and bleeding in the town of Charleston, on North Green Road, early on July 25, 2004. He was airlifted to Albany Medical Center where he later died. An autopsy revealed Galusha died from skull fractures and brain injury caused by blunt force trauma. Woman Injured In Stabbing Attack In Capital Region
A woman is recovering after she was repeatedly stabbed on a residential street in the region. The attack happened in Albany’s Arbor Hill neighborhood, on North Pearl Street near Wilson Street, at around 5:40 p.m. Monday, July 22. Three people were killed in a head-on highway crash in the region. The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham.
