Man From Region Accused Of Murdering Woman, Dismembering Her Body, Police Say A man from the region has been charged with allegedly killing a woman and then dismembering her body before disposing of the parts. Ulster County resident Damon Foy, age 50, of Kerhonkson, was arraigned in Ulster County Court on Friday, April 19, for a murder charge and remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail. According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, between Sunday, March 31, and Monday, April 1, Foy murdered Alberta Dale, age 44, of Pennsylvania, dismembered her and was in the process of disposing of her body when law enforcement intervened.  Dale’s remains were loca…

Suspect Caught After Assaulting Woman Pumping Gas, Crashing Her Vehicle In Region: Police A Hudson Valley man has been charged with a hate crime after allegedly robbing and stealing a woman's car at a gas station. The incident took place in Ulster County around 4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Mobil Station on Route 209 in the town of Wawarsing. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, a preliminary investigation revealed that Shirley Clayton, an 84-year-old woman from the hamlet of Kerhonkson was pumping gas when she was assaulted by Christopher Doulin, age 37, of Lake Katrine.  Nevel said Doulin shoved Clayton to the ground and entered her vehicle.  As he was going thro…

The incidents took place in Ulster County in Ellenville, a village in the town of Wawarsing on Saturday, Nov. 4 around 6 p.m. on Canal Street and Maiden Lane. Know this graffiti? Sexual Comments To Child: Man From Region Charged A man from the region has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly making inappropriate sexual comments. Ulster County resident Daryl C. Scheringer, age 73, of Wawarsing, was charged on Saturday, June 17 in the town of Napanoch. Scheringer was arrested after New York State Police responded to a home on Nappy Lane for a report of a verbal dispute, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
