30-Year-Old Man Killed In Fight With Friend At Capital Region Home, Police Say A homicide investigation is underway after a 30-year-old man suffered fatal injuries during a fight at a home in the region. Albany Police were called at around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, for an unconscious man inside a residence on Clinton Avenue near Henry Johnson Boulevard. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Jieshi Williams, was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital and later died from blunt force trauma injuries. Nearly a dozen so-called “ghost cars” – those with either phony or switched license plates – were removed from Albany city streets on Friday, Feb. 23, according to Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. Sullivan County resident Keith Nash, age 31, of South Fallsburg was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 15 by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office on a family court child support warrant. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, Nash owed $1,200 in support payments. 4 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash In Region Four people were injured during a serious two-vehicle crash in the region. The collision took place in Dutchess County on Route 9G at the intersection of North Cross Road in the town of Hyde Park around 10 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 18.  According to the Roosevelt Fire District Chief Jeffrey Scala, firefighters and EMS responded to the crash with reports of ejections and people trapped in vehicles.
