Spring Valley Board Comes Through With Funds To Save Summer Camps SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Spring Valley parents learned late last week their children will be able to attend local summer camps. The Spring Valley board of trustees authorized spending $160,000 on a pair of programs that will serve about 130 children, according to LoHud.com.  The money will be divided between the Martin Luther King Multipurpose Center and a program at Camp Scuffy in Ramapo. The MLK center program will run for five weeks and accommodate 50-60 children. Nearly 70 children will attend Camp Scuffy.
