Man Faces Animal Cruelty Charge After Good Samaritan Report In Putnam
A Westchester County man was arrested on alleged animal cruelty charges after his badly injured Beagle was found running loose and saved by a Good Samaritan. Nuno Afonso-Gouveia of Yonkers was arrested on Saturday, April 6, by Putnam County SPCA officers after his dog "Snoopy," was found running loose near the Meadowlands Auto Dealership on Route 6, in Carmel, said Ken Ross, Chief of the Putnam County SPCA.
