Croton Falls Road Closed Most Of Day CROTON FALLS, N.Y. -- Drivers will need to find a different route if their usual route takes them on Croton Falls Road, as the both the eastbound and westbound lanes between Route 100/202 and Route 22 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.  The closure is due to the rehabilitation of the Croton Falls Road Bridge over the Croton River. Detour signs will be posted. Police will be in place to direct motorists.

New York Pays $450,000 To Family of Inmate Beaten In Prison DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - The Poughkeepsie Journal has released an investigation in which it found two dozen cases locally and 175 cases statewide where inmates said they were beaten by corrections officers received money from the state in lawsuit settlements.  The state paid the family of Steven Ostane $450,000, the highest amount paid in one of these cases since 2010, the Journal says.  Read more about the investigation here.

Indian Point Siren Test Scheduled CORTLANDT, N.Y -- The alarm sirens at Indian Point will be tested between 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday.The sirens may be heard in the Croton-on-Hudson and in the vicinity of New York Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt.
