Suspect in Triple Slaying Caught In Yonkers
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – One of two men wanted in connection with a triple homicide in New Jersey was arrested in Yonkers Saturday, according to multiple media reports.
Lavelle T. Davis, 33, of Galloway, N.J., was captured early Saturday, lohud.com reported.
The day before, authorities had arrested Jimmy P. Mays, 37, formerly of Egg Harbor Township, N.J., in Columbia, Md. He is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
Involved in Mays’s arrest were detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the FBI, Maryland State Police and Maplewood, N.J., police, according to www.nj.com.
