The planetarium presents its Evening Under the Stars at 7 p.m. on June 18 at New Rochelle High School, 265 Clove Rd.
The program offers celestial lessons about the Summer and Winter solstices, as well as the Vernal and Autumnal equinoxes. Guides will also teach star gazers where to look to witness the conjunction of Jupiter and Venus, which occurs June 30.
Admission is free. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. and close promptly at 7 p.m. No one is admitted after the doors close.
