Employees At Long Island Bar Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Say Two employees of a popular Long Island bar were robbed at gunpoint by two men. Suffolk County Police said the incident took place around 430 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at Vanderbilts Wharf at 445s Vanderbilt Blvd., in Oakdale. According to police, the two employees left the business when they were approached by two men brandishing what appeared to be handguns and demanding jewelry and cash.   The victims complied, and the two men then attempted to access the safe before fleeing the scene.
