NY Utility Companies Agree To Pay $86M In Settlements For Failed Isaias Response The failed response by utility companies in New York during Tropical Storm Isaias is going to prove costly. Terms of settlements totaling $86.2 million have been agreed upon with the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) for alleged violations committed as the storm swept across the state.
