Man Steals Passenger Trolley, Crashes In Elmont, Flees Officials are searching for an unknown man who they say commandeered a Long Island passenger trolley, crashed it, and fled the scene, leaving police to find a fiery scene. The incident on Saturday, July 15 at approximately 9 a.m. in Elmont, according to Nassau County Police. Near Gate 5 of the UBS Arena, located at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike, an unknown man was discovered to have gotten into a green UBS passenger trolley.
