The incident occurred on Monday, Nov. 13, in Huntington Station at the Saks Fifth Avenue store on Walt Whitman Road. Police said the man attempted to steal the clothing and was stopped by a store employee whom he threatened with a knife. The man then dropped the clothing and fled in a black Nissan Sentra, police said. Brent Carter, of Las Vegas, pleaded guilty to conveying a hoax and false information in federal court in Albany Friday, Jan. 13. Just before 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15, someone called 911 reporting a threat against the members of the JCC of the Greater Five Towns on Central Avenue in Lawrence, according to Nassau County Police. The incident took place around 8:40 a.m., Friday, Dec. 25, at the Bolla Market, located at 2155 Linden Boulevard in Elmont, said the Nassau County Police. According to detectives, two men entered the market and approached the beer section. Each man grabbed four cases of beer and exited the store without paying, police said.
