Peter Pendzinski, age 24, of Shirley, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and related charges in Suffolk County Court on Friday, April 12, in the death of 21-year-old Nathanael Rodriguez. Pendzinski admitted to picking up Rodriguez from his Bay Shore home at around midnight on Dec. 26, 2020. Duo Nabbed Following Reports Of Gunshots At Eisenhower Park: Police Two Long Island men have been arrested in connection with an incident involving shots fired at a local park. On Sunday, June 4 at approximately 8:15 p.m., Nassau County Police officers initially responded to Eisenhower Park, located at 1899 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, on a claim of shots fired. Officers observed 34-year-old LaMichael Taylor, of Rockville Centre, fleeing the park, hopping a fence, and running south on Merrick Avenue towards Hempstead Turnpike. 21-Year-Old Busted With Loaded Gun During Traffic Stop In Elmont, Police Say A 21-year-old man is facing weapons charges after he was allegedly busted with a loaded gun during a traffic stop on Long Island. Teandre Johnson, of Springfield Gardens, Queens, was arrested by Nassau County Police at around 11 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Elmont. Officers with the department’s Bureau of Special Operations pulled Johnson over after observing a Cadillac CTS driving southbound on Elmont Road near Belmont Avenue violating the Vehicle and Traffic Law, police said. Man Found In Possession Of Drugs, Loaded Handgun In Hicksville, Police Say A man was charged after authorities said he was found in possession of drugs and a loaded handgun during an investigation on Long Island. Eugene Hicks, of North Carolina, was arrested in Hicksville at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, the Nassau County Police Department reported. Officers were conducting an investigation in the parking lot of 828 South Oyster Bay Road and approached a parked 2016 Chevrolet pickup truck, police said.  Hicks exited the pickup truck and the officers saw a knife in his pocket, NCPD said. Duo Nabbed With Loaded Gun At Hotel In Nassau County, Police Say Two men were arrested for allegedly having a loaded handgun in a hotel room on Long Island. Manuel Andrade, age 36, and Refugio Miguel Ponce Nunez, age 51, both of East Meadow, were arrested on Friday, April 2, at the Coliseum Inn, located at 1650 Hempstead Turnpike, in East Meadow, said the Nassau County Police. According to detectives, officers responded to the Coliseum Inn for the report of a found gun.
