Stop For Failure To Yield Leads To DWI Charge For Long Island Woman A 61-year-old woman who failed to stop at a traffic circle is facing charges for alleged impaired driving, the Suffolk County Sheriff announced. Shortly before midnight in Patchogue on Friday, Nov. 1, Sheriff’s deputies stopped Ronkonkoma resident Salvadora Vaz on Waverly Avenue after she was spotted failing to yield at the traffic circle.
