The incident took place in Nassau County around 8 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, in Roslyn Heights as the 56-year-old woman walked along Roslyn Road at Willets Road. According to Nassau County Police, the woman was struck by a southbound 2018 Jeep Cherokee that was being driven by a 30-year-old man.
