City officials and Yale University are speaking out after a masked man climbed a public menorah on the New Haven Green and put a Palestinian flag on the structure. Video of the incident shows a protester dressed in black scaling the menorah and sticking a Palestinian flag on one of the candleholders. 'Pharmageddon': CVS, Walgreens Protests Spread As Workers Seek Better Conditions
Around a thousand pharmacy workers across the country have walked off the job as part of a strike to protest conditions. The so-called "Pharmageddon" series of walkouts at pharmacy chains including CVS and Walgreens stores started Monday, Oct. 30, and is expected to continue at least through the middle of the week. Proceedings at a New York courthouse came grinding to a halt after a protester released scores of cockroaches inside a courtroom. It happened Tuesday morning, June 7, at Albany City Court. Hundreds of high school students in Westchester staged a walkout in protest of an alleged sexual assault involving a student several years ago. In New Rochelle, upwards of 1,000 students walked out on Monday, March 21 in response to a social media post made last week from a student who alleged sexual assault four years ago at an off-campus location.
