Man Hit By Car Outside Nassau County School Polling Site
A pedestrian struck by a vehicle outside a polling place in Levittown was hospitalized with injuries. The incident took place around 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, on Gardiners Avenue, outside of Abbey Lane Elementary School, which serves as a polling place, Nassau County Police said. Police were not sure of the circumstances surrounding the accident, or if the person was voting. The accident is under investigation.
