Fatal Crash: 54-Year-Old Long Island Man Struck By Pickup Truck A Long Island man was hit and killed by a pickup truck overnight. The incident took place in Suffolk County around 9:20 p.m., Monday, March 3 in Nesconset. Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating the crash that killed Paul Harrison, age 54, of Hauppauge when his scooter was struck by a 2018 Dodge Ram driven traveling westbound on Route 347 at the intersection of Southern Boulevard. Covid-19: About One-Third Of Virus Survivors Have Longer-Term Mental Health Issues, Study Says While the physical effects of COVID-19 may wear off for those unfortunate enough to contract the virus, more than a third of survivors are reporting long-term mental health concerns, according to a new study. A study published in the Lancet Psychiatry journal on Tuesday, April 6 found that 34 percent of COVID-19 survivors received a diagnosis for a neurological or psychological condition within six months of their infection.
