Long Island Native Who Owned Sporting Goods Stores In NY Dies
A former councilman of a town in Northern Westchester who owned several stores in the area has died.
Joseph Albanese, who lived in Chappaqua and raised his family there, died on Sunday, Jan. 8 at the age of 90, according to his obituary.
Born in Bay Shore, Long Island in 1932, Albanese graduated from Yale University in 1954 and was a track and field letterman. He also served in the Marine Corps from 1951 to 1959, and after graduating from Yale, spent two years in Yokosuka, Japan, and in the Korean War.

Celebrity Chef Sandra Lee Sells Suburban NY Home She Shared With Cuomo
Celebrity chef Sandra Lee has sold the Northern Westchester home she shared for several years with her former boyfriend, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, according to a new report.
The home, at 4 Bittersweet Lane in New Castle, sold for $1.85 million after originally being listed for $2 million, The New York Post reports.
Lee bought the home, called Lily Pond, in for $1.3 million in 2009. She moved to a new home, located in Malibu, California, late last year, shortly after the 54-year-old Lee and 62-year-old Cuomo confirmed their split in September 2019.

There’s a new Trump in town.
Westchester County residents Eric and Lara Trump had their second child, Carolina Dorothy Trump, the couple announced on social media.
“@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to welcome Carolina Dorothy Trump into the world,” Eric tweeted late Monday, Aug. 19. “We love you already!”
Lara, 36, announced that she was pregnant in April. Carolina joins the couple’s first-born, 23-month-old Luke, who was born in September 2017.
