Memorial Services Set For Award-Winning East Meadow Librarian, Of Freeport Two memorial services have been set for an award-winning East Meadow librarian who died in July. Loretta Kelleher who was the reference librarian at East Meadow Public Library died of natural causes on Tuesday, July 23. She was a longtime resident of Freeport. The New York Times recognized Kelleher with the New York Times Librarian Award in 2003, according to the obituary.
