Sixth Precinct officers responded to Port Jeff Liquors, located at 156 E. Main St. in Port Jefferson after a clerk at the store called 911at 2:23 p.m., stating he shot a man who came into the store swinging a sword.  After an investigation by Homicide Squad detectives, it was determined, Theodore Scoville, 50, entered the store, swung a samurai sword three times before the clerk shot him.
