Man Arrested After Saying He Was Hit By Car During Long Island Protest, Police Say
A Long Island man has been charged after allegedly telling police that he was struck by a car during a Black Lives Matter Protest in Suffolk County. Hempstead resident Keith Harrison attended a Black Lives Matter protest on Broadway in Huntington Station on Monday, July 6, when a vehicle struck a pedestrian at approximately 6:45 p.m., Suffolk County Police said.
