Seen Him? Alert Issued For Teen Missing Nearly A Week, Last Seen In Hempstead Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a missing teenager who was last seen on Long Island. Jamell Harris, age 14, was last seen on Friday, Sept. 1 at approximately 9 p.m. in Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police. Harris is described as being 5-foot-5 and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and cargo shorts. Missing Nassau County 12-Year-Old Found Update: The missing 12-year-old has been found. Original report: Police on Long Island are asking the public for help locating a missing boy. Jamell Harris, age 12, of Hempstead, was reported missing to the Nassau County Police on Thursday, Dec. 16, around noon. According to detectives, Harris was last seen leaving his Terrace Avenue residence.  He is described as being 5-foot-6, and 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.  His possible destination is unknow…
