Man Charged In Bank Robberies On Back-To-Back Days In Hamlet On Long Island A suspect has been charged for allegedly committing a pair of bank robberies in as many days in a hamlet on Long Island. Ismael Colon, 41, of Holtsville is the suspect in robberies early this month in Farmingville. The first bank robbery in Farmingville happened on Sunday, Feb. 2 just after 11:30 a.m. That's when Colon allegedly entered People’s United Bank, inside Stop & Shop, located at 2350 North Ocean Ave. and handed the teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk County Police said.
