The black kitten became stuck in the wheel well of a Hyundai Sonata Thursday afternoon, June 2, in North Babylon, according to Suffolk County Police. Driver Killed In Head-On Crash In Nassau County A man was killed in a head-on crash on Long Island. It happened in Massapequa at 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, according to the Nassau County Police Department.  A Hyundai Sonata, driven by the victim, a 75-year-old, was traveling north on Carmans Road near Bailey Drive when the car was involved in the crash with a Honda Civic, NCPD said. Police said the man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The driver of the Honda, a 33-year-old woman, suffered a possible broken leg and is in stable condition, police said. More Than 500K Hyundai, Kia Vehicles Being Recalled For Backward Turn Signals Hyundai and Kia are recalling more than 550,000 vehicles in the US that may have turn signals that flash in the opposite direction of what the driver intended. The recall includes some Hyundai Sonata models between 2015 and 2017; Hyundai Sonata gas-electric hybrids produced in 2016 and 2017; and Kia Sedona minivan models between 2015 and 2017. According to the automakers, the problem is caused by software in a junction box that is improperly interpreting the signals being made by the driver.
